Spirals can be customized in several ways. Tread materials, risers, lights, and coating are just the start. The size or diameter of the spiral is a key factor determined by preference and space constraints. Typical sizing starts from 60" diameter minimum for code, up to 84" diameter or bigger. Additionally, gates can meet code requirements in the case of pool enclosures, or just add a level of security.
60", 28" wide tread, smallest for code compliance
66", 31" wide tread
72", 34" wide tread
84", 40" wide tread
Note: See the Railing Page for more information. Stairs in part or whole may be fabricated to match existing deck or balcony designs.

Riser bars are a great way to add interest to your stairs because they have a high visual impact. The standard riser bar is minimal 1/2" square, centered between steps. Riser bar customizaton gives good value for the cost. Closed risers can give a more secure feel.
Gates are installed at the top of the spiral and may use a pool latch or standard latch. Gates can be built to different heights and designs.
Landings (or platforms) may be customized a few different ways.
The landing can be sized to fit the the shape of an opening or scaled larger in a balcony-type style.
The surface material can be matched to a deck or balcony and installed separately from the treads.
The railing style may be made to match a similar, existing design like glass or cable rail.
Lights are added to illuminate individual treads and the top post.
With a proprietary, concealed design, the lights are out of the way yet fully functional.
LED lights provide 10,000+ hours of use.
Colors include cool white, warm white, blue, green, red, and orange.
Must have a GCFI outlet available.
Powder coating provides a lot of options for color and gloss level. Standard colors are white, black, and brown. Finishes are available in high gloss, satin, and matte.
Painting allows a more flexible time-schedule and is standard for most interior options. Items are finished using high-grade automotive paint and primer.
Galvanizing gives a long-lasting, inside-out durabilty that lasts for years.

Railing is the infill down a spiral that prevents a user from falling off and offers a place to securely grip. Typically rails are 36" high.
Most rails can be made to match existing designs or motifs.
Special features include a double top and helix bar at the bottom to emphasize the spiral shape.
Railing can be customized to any design you can imagine.
